The Caregiver in Your Life Needs Help—Here’s What to Do
Posted on May 28, 2026 - If someone you love is a caregiver, they need your support—even if they haven’t asked for it. Especially if they haven’t asked for it. A new report from the Michigan Poll on Healthy Aging reveals that most caregivers have no backup support at all. Forty-one percent of people who provide some form of care for another adult with disability or chronic health issues say they have no form of support for their own needs. Given the demographics of the country, that is a problem not likely to go away on its own.
